As Corneotherapists swimming in a sea full of peels, microderm, ‘you must fix this’, ‘let’s make you flawless’, treatments where groups of people are considered ‘contraindications’, and the ever growing, unrealistic messages of ‘lets have you looking like an infant well into retirement’ in order to sell etc. etc. it’s sometimes hard to get our message across, that skin is an organ and therefore should be treated like one. Osmosis is a progressive, scientific and results based skin care brand the team at HOM have fallen in love with, so much so we are now in the process of changing up our protocols that have worked so well for us for 5 1/2 years because as technology and education within this space evolves so must we.
Founded in 2007 and run by Dr Ben Johnson, Osmosis thinks differently (like us) and their mission is to change the way skin is treated; empowering the body’s amazing innate ability to heal itself. Taking into consideration external, internal and emotional health, Osmosis fully embodies the HOM philosophy of a holistic approach to skin and wellbeing. Osmosis uses the skin as a window into our internal health, incorporates a corneotherapeutic approach, uses the same phosphatidylcholine delivery system that we love and allows for unique customised treatments we know are the right fit not only for us but for our clients. The treatments and skin care suits all skin conditions and concerns, providing long term clinical results for every skin.
Not only do Osmosis do topical skin care well, they have a range of elixirs and internal support products to get right to the root cause of your skin concerns (alongside Jenny our Health Coach and her guidance with diet and lifestyle), not just masking external symptoms like traditional approaches. The acknowledgement of the emotional connection to skin conditions is a progressive and rare notion; not something we have seen before with skin care brands and works so well with what we do and something we have seen patterns of while getting to know and working with clients.
Current clients have no fear in changing over to Osmosis, this is because our previous range and Osmosis both utilise the same delivery system and philosophy, thus not contradicting each other and this allows for a smooth and painless transition, simply swap over your products as they run out – no adjustment period just enhanced results.
