Bare Roots is an Australian made, organic and holistic range created by Suzanne, a Dermal Therapist and founder of SJM Skin Aesthetics Medi Spa. We first fell in love with their mission to perpetuate passion, education and transparency amongst the brand and then fell in love with the ingredients and results of the Bare Roots range.
We love this range because the products are gentle yet effective and are designed to support poor functioning skin by harnessing the properties of botanically derived ingredients across the whole range. These include;
Aloe vera as the base ingredient not water! Aloe vera is anti-inflammatory and contains 73 active constituents including a range of vitamins like vitamin C and B12. It is immensely hydrating and absorbs into the skin quicker than water.
Bio-compatible lipids like squalene, ceramides and shea butter. These are fats naturally found in the skin so are quickly recognised and utilised to repair and restore the skin’s barrier.
Kakadu plum, green tea and plant oils make up just some of the antioxidants across the range providing protection against free radicals that we are exposed to every single day.
Other special ingredients to mention are Zinc for wound modulation and sebum regulation and Tamu which stimulates new tissue growth!
